今日の午前中は曇り予報ということで、新潟駅から新津駅まで走ってきた。 弁天線の途中でなんと雨が降ってきた。 気温が下がり走りやすくなった。
国道403号線脇の農道を走り、小阿賀野川に掛かる橋の上でベスト付属のフラスコの水が切れたので、担いできたプラティパスに入れたスポーツドリンクにて補給していると、小阿賀野川沿いにあるサイクリングロードを自転車で走る人が見受けられた。 少し休憩して日焼け止めを塗り直し出発。
農道を走っていると、干からびたアオダイショウと思われるヘビが転がっていた。 餌となるネズミがいるのだろう。 新津駅近くまで来ると、美幸町の祭りの準備で神輿のメンテナンスをしている人たちがいた。
新津駅に着くと、ちょうどSL磐越号が停車していた。 切符を買い帰路についた。
