駐車場には、3台ほど駐車されていた。
曇時々あられと雨の中、二時間ほどで三ノ峰にある小屋に着きカップ麺を持参した魔法瓶のお湯で作り、おにぎりと一緒に食べ、一息ついて下山を始める。 途中、無線機を出すと、新発田方面のOMさんと交信できた。 １エリアから二年ほど前に戻ってきたと言う。 小雨の中、小１時間ほどで下山し帰路についた。
